Molly Bahr, LMHC
I know how difficult it can be to reach out and ask for help. Sometimes we question if what’s bothering us is even “that bad”. If you’re thinking about going to therapy, it’s probably a good idea to come in. We don’t need to wait until an issue is at a “10 out of 10” on the difficulty scale to get the support we need. Therapy can effectively treat specific issues like anxiety, depression, or eating disorders and it can also help less defined concerns such as exploring your purpose in life, resolving pain from your past, learning to accept and appreciate yourself, and coping with new changes in life.
I offer Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) - a form of therapy that can reduce the distress, vividness, intensity of emotions, and body sensations of an event or issue that's bothering you. We will focus on processing out negative core beliefs (ex. "I'm not good enough', "I'm unworthy") and install positive core beliefs (“I’m enough”).
